Season 4, Episode 29: Bango Was His Name Oh!
Recap: Stewie sees for a man on TV who looks just like him. Convinced this man must be his real father, Stewie takes Brian to go on a cross-country road trip with Quagmire to find him and discover the truth. Meanwhile, Peter and Lois try to help Chris and Meg get dates so that they can have some “alone time.”
My take: One of the best! The best part about watching this Family guy episode the first time is that you didn’t really know what was going on and where the story was headed with Stewie and the Stu. Watching it again is even more fascinating since you can focus on the really awesome jokes.
Including the commercial for the wacky waving guys.
80s reference: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade with the holy grail, I mean jesus cup.
California bound with Quagmire. If the van’s a rockin don’t come a knockin. The scene with Brian in the chair and Stewie pressing the buttons was really twisted.
Great line from Peter “Lesson 1 for attracting a man, I want you to shave my back.”
